Cathy Stelling is the current Resource Manager of Switch Up Entertainment.
In this position, she is responsible for ensuring that the company has everything it needs, hiring the right people with the right skills, and implementing and maintaining relations and practices, as well as assisting the other members of the executive team in whatever they may need.
Cathy was born in Clifton, New Jersey and raised in West Milford, New Jersey. She graduated from West Milford High School and went onto Rowan University, where she studied to be a teacher. Stelling spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Dundee before graduating in 2009 with a degree in English and Secondary Education. She has always had a passion for writing and theater, but she was drawn into education because of an equal passion for sharing her love of story-telling with others.
Stelling was working at Triton Regional High School at the time when she first met Juwan Chambers as his Junior year English teacher. The two's friendship began after Chambers asked her to help him with his screenplays. While helping Chambers write and mold scripts, Stelling suggested he join the spring musical, which she was the Assistant Director of. Working together on the musical garnered them the chance to continue working on screenplays, grow their friendship, and work with each other in a professional capacity outside of just a classroom.
After Chambers graduated, he kept in contact with Stelling and continued to seek help with scripts and new ideas. It was because of all this why Chambers approached her in 2016 about founding Switch Up Entertainment with him. Since joining, Stelling has retired from teaching and become a producer and a mother.
