Diamond S. Tillman is the Head of Television at Switch Up Entertainment. In the position, she is responsible for finding and developing television ideas, as well as overseeing all current and future comedy and drama series productions produced for Switch Up Entertainment.
Born and raised in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Diamond grew up as an only child which led her to have a very creative imagination. Many of her days were spent writing and creating skits for her, and her cousins to act out for their family.
Throughout her school years, Tillman was a part of many plays such as Midsummer’s Night Dream, Princess and the Pea, The Taming of the Shrew, Little Shop of Horrors, and much more. She also enjoyed working behind the scenes of many plays as well. Although her main goal in life was not to become an actor, she truly enjoyed being a part of the theater world.
After graduating high school, she attended the University of Hartford, where she obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. It was at the University of Hartford where she met Juwan Chambers. After reading some of the television scripts Chambers had written, she partnered with friends Eric Martin and Esther Dronyi to create their own series, she hoped to turn into a web-series, but even though it never came to fruition, the three continued working on it. It was because of this why Chambers approached her in 2016 about founding Switch Up Entertainment and taking on this role. Tillman believes having a degree in psychology will help her mentally connect with all the characters she creates. Tillman has become a producer and helped Chambers shape the first season of Stories, as well as working on future short film ideas and web and TV series.
